Bored then Spored by Meik!
So I downloaded the Spore Creature Creator.
A free app for the new Will Wright game that comes out soon.
It's going to be pretty amazing I think.
So after I created one I did this.
Ok off to sleep
It's starting to get good
Busy you may ask? He's working on a project that's really fun. Model.Live
I really can't tell you exactly what he does. But it involves repelling, research, and resolution.
I believe his daily tasks include fashion, meditation, coffee and comics.
I'm not really sure how the comics fit in there but that's the Finnegan we know.
He's gotta work tomorrow but fashion doesn't sleep apparently.
Madeline's starting to blow up, check it here.
If you haven't seen her episode yet got to bebo.com/modellive
Gotta go we'll let you know soon.
DORX 333?
I saw this one of my most recent trips to Hanger Bar.
I also told Sarah how much I felt like a vampire.
Being do to some of the hours that i had been.
And no I had not been biting girls.
At least that I know of.
Well I got a slightly busy day today.
I'm on the clock from 12-4pm.
I think there's a couple football matches during that period.
Possibly some Liverpool action.

I am Meik! and you can too....
Working like crazy tonight at the Model.Live offices.
The Models are starting to get a bunch of press.
I am just waiting for this whole thing to explode.
I think it's a great experience for all of them.
It could be kinda huge.
We're blasting some Michael Jackson at the moment.
I hear Brad Walsh is coming out of retirement tonight at Hanger Bar.
I may have to challenge him to some sort of duel.
Chinese Checkers or Horseshoes, your call.
Well if you hear any Biggie blasting near 23rd st, it's just us kids....
I might make it over to hanger bar later.
Probably not gonna make it to Midtown comics oh wellll.
later kids
Sure I've been lost in Willingboro before...
That doesn't really have to do with anything.
I'm kinda in this state of liimbo at the moment.
Lots of coffee and not the much sleep.
I ran in to the ladies of Darling Don't Dance this week.
I can't forget Flemming, we'd hand out all the time.
Except that Atlantic Ocean and thousands of miles are in the way.
Oh well I will plan my sojourn to denmark soon
Looks for some photos tomorrow possibly.
It was their last show before they headed back to Denmark
Things to do
1. Read Comics (Lots of She-Hulk, Avengers and Secret Invasion)
2. Go to sleep
3. Put Red Quiksilver decal on car
4. See some friends (where is everyone)
5.Wake up in 6 hours......
Ohhhhh boy see yah.
Might go out tomorrow night.
Let's all do something

Dinner and Tournament
So we celebrated Sassy's birthday Friday night at Medieval Times.
Our crew took up an entire row and was quite loud.
I told one of my co-workers earlier that I expected their to be some trouble
But all was good. There was heckling of the guards.
Random and quite awkward cheers.
For some reason we kept talking in pirate voices.
Also plenty of quoting from the movie Cable Guy.
"SSSSSSteven we are forced to do battle"
We cheered
Erin represented France
Yes i do have a waavy thing and 4 empty cups
The Knee and T
Princess Erin and Queen Sassy
They landed the red knight
and got his signature
Christmas '08 Card
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrr!!!!
I don't know where this will lead us next but an exciting new tale to come soon...

The Valiant Adventures of Meik-Sweeney
So last week me and Sweeney met up via multiple transportation methods.
I never posted any thing due to my change in sleeping habits.
But adventure however varied was a fun catch up for friends from HS.
Sweeny chose to ride the rails and I used tired wagon mobile carriers
Eventually it was a rain soaked walk on Day 2.
I think that makes today Day 5 or 6.
Apparetnly the lighting in the subways are pretty good.
On our way back to the city I broke out the Pentax
This was with no flash and just my 50mm lens.
That sucker is pretty darn amazing.
At age thirty the 2 of us are either going to Ireland Pub Crawling or Hawaii on surf trip. That's if the ladies allow us.
We're two guys that don't see each other for a year and then just chat up a storm when we see each other...
It's usually about surfing, skating, food, and Hamilton.
We're still thinking about making the empire of Team Pretty Awesome come back with an explosive return.
The day ended good...I got a lot of things done.
Learned about 50 different tech, apple, and video tricks or progs
USA Mens soccer just beat Guatemala 1-0 for a WC Qualifier
Get well Eddie Lewis...He got rocked by an elbow.
Anyways does the district really sleep alone tonight?
And how many holes are there?
5 Things I need to do in the next 24 hours.....
1. (Classified) Work on Secret Project
2. Listen to GFW Radio for this week
3. Get the Watchmen Graphic Novel
4. Sleep
5. Return to Wayne Manor in about 7 hours
I think this pretty much sums up my life at the very moment
See ya!

Earlier today
Earlier today I was in the bat cave.
Then I head over to Wayne Manor for the rest of the day.
Things are starting off pretty good but there's a lot of work ahead.
But any big project takes your full potential and attention.
On my lunch I'm going to work on a new feature.
Called, is it the Shake Shack Line or just people walking???
I'll probably get accused of cutting the line or annoying strangers.
Oh well, we shall see
During the week I'm probably not going to be doing much till we get in full swing.
Also I'm still getting use to switching my bed time to my new wake up.
The sun it can burn your eyes.
What's even worse is that their are comic book stores near both my subway stops.
Oh boy....

AM in CONN
This was sunrise early sunday morning from our hotel in Connecticut.
I was actually complete asleep at the time.
Frag took this photo all by her lovely self.
Only hours earlier I was scavenging through the halls for mountain dew and ice or at least that's what frag says.
I was not in necrophagy or showing a carnivorous feeding behavior
Well maybe earlier at the raw bar with tons of food.
Earlier I was eating pizza in the hotel bar that the bride and groom ordered for all of us.
Let's just say the bus back to the hotel had cup holders.
You do the math.
I was dancing up a storm having drinks from my 3 favorite movies:
The Big Lebowski, The Life Aquatic and any bond flick with martinis
Let's just say Saturday I was playing Mad Men the home game.
But actually just a a quick shower at 11am today and I was fantastic.
Go figure, it must have the special powers from the shell fish.
I think I could eat Seafood all day and not get full.
There was a guy at the wedding who looked like Peter Fonda from Easy Rider.
His sideburns were even more badass than mine.
I wanted to talk to him about his life story and adventures.
It was a splendid time with the friends and fam.
This week is going to be busy I'll be at Wayne Manor...
That's what I'm calling the new office.
alright I have some comics to read before sleep.

this weik in meik
Last night was epic.
We got lost in Brooklyn.
By we I actually me and Sweeney from back home.
We caught up on plenty of adventures.
The surf shop was packed but they never screened the film.
It may have been shown at the Glasslands.
Instead after having some free Coors we headed to Biergarten.
Some proper wursts and some liters of course.
A fun time and we made it back early.
We missed Alex Knost but we still had a good time.
Psyched on the next Taylor Steele surf flick in progress.
Today is my first day in the new office.
I realized I'll be pulling some crazy hours which is rad.
I'm good cause there's a couch and that's all I need.
It kinda remind me of Dark Knight cause I have a 360 view of the city.
So if I start answering my phone Bruce Wayne then I've lost it.
Alright I'll see you in a couple hours....

Street Art
I saw this walking home last night.
Actually on may way over to get some 99 cent pizza.
Off to go see a surf flick via RVCA and the Vice kids and Mr. Alex Knost.
Then later Japanese Motors is playing Glasslands.
I'll try to get some photos.

Trainwreck if you've had it up to here....
Tonight was a mid summer's night trainwreck.
Slow 4a sec and packed when the free Sparks started flying.
I was kinda bummed I had to leave early but I got a busy day today.
Jessica is showing how to properly have some fun during know doubt.
Almost missed the bus due to some Bosstones and Op Ivy at the end
Luckily I made it and any crisis was averted.
More photos to come from this gala probably posted tomorrow.
If you haven't gone to BLT Burger you need to Asap.
I was telling Erica about the Twinkie Milkshake.
It's the most immaculate thing in the world ever.
Their burgers and ingredients are complete off the wall as well.
Alright I need to watch Venezuela vs USA womens volleyball and sleep
later.......

Darling Don't Dance at Lit for real this time
So last week our friends from Denmark returned.
This was a long wednesday that was pretty crazy..
Let's just recap as it partially ended at union pool.
Issues with an amp, trouble at a door, cab rides, loose elephants.
OK there were no loose elephants but you have to be prepared.
The ladies and gent put on a great show and only eliminated 1amp.
Having drinks with Flemming and chatting with the guys from And you will come to know us by the Trail of the Dead.
Which my phone died right after I left so I asked the bouncer where Clinton Hill was and he pointed in a direction.
So like the nautical land sailor I am the sojourn began
What would turn out to be a massive exodus from Billy to Clinton.
Luckily Sassy was still awake and allowed me to crash on her couch.
Other than that the the nigh was pretty fun and magical
DDD
some glow

Flemming on the drums

The crew is playing wednesday night at Trash Bar...
Take the trip with me...See you then..

Paid in full
Apparently that's the stamp a lot places are using.
It's kinda funny to see similarity like this with so many options.
Saturday night was a fun filled and festive adventure.
A journey bring us up down and walking west to east in the villages.
Dogs at Ditch Plains, Some Cider at Heathers and pit stop at B-Side.
Our Main event was a capacity filled club for Mr. Kiji's B-day.
I saw some things that night for which I never will forget.
The kind of stuff well you don't imagine or joke about.
But our whole crew was fine and wasn't causing any trouble.
I brought my 40mm lens which is great for shooting head shots.
If you can stand away a couple feet which at times was no option.
My fault shoulda had the fisheye or normal zoom.
But I got some good stuff from everybody...
The birthday boy
The Bench
Artsy blartsy
Shenanigans
Kiji and Sassy
I actually posed them for this picture
Peekaboo
Goodnight

Darling Don't Dance
Here's a preview from wednesday's show at LIT
I have all the photos up on flickr.
Just need to sort through the ones I really like.
Probably wanna do that before I head out LES tonight.
Oh well we'll see.
1-2-3 paint with me(ik!)
I miss my art table.
I had to give it away when I moved at the end of 2006.
A painted a bunch of paintings on that sucker.
Originally it was a coffee table but that eventually changed.
Most of said paintings reside on my wall basement or side of bed.
I want to do like a collection of 50 or so pieces
A couple with united themes.
I dunno, it happens that I get really crazy painting a lot and then not.
I'm going to put up a gallery of all the pieces I have my possession.
If you want me to paint you something let me know.

That's a pedal board
Still working on photos kinda delayed and distracted.
This one is just crazy cause of how many pedals are in it.
If you were to do a logistics diagram of settings and physics parameters in relation to the possiblities created by choice, quality, and random differential you would probably have a brain cramp or run out of paper.
So instead I'm thinking about some food.
Learning about BUN CHA on Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations.
Basically it's Rice Noodles(Bun) and Grilled Pork(Cha).
The method they use in Vietnam is super Lo-Fi.
No clue what I'm going to do today....
I'll let you know.....

lights
That's how my eye feels right now.
Like it has an orange lighting gel.
Yeah that doesn't really mean anythings.
From a venue I have been at in awhile.
I've seen my share of Lit Lounge the past two days.
I'm pretty much going to edit photos, eat and sleep the rest of the day.
I think I ended up walking between 10-15 miles the last two days.
And yesterday it was in cords and a cricket sweater.
Jeepers alright updates that aren't just my random blabble later

You are where you're at
This was on the wall at Lit tonight.
It reminded of one of Mike Birbiglia's Abe Lincoln jokes.
I thought my friends were playing but they actually play wednesday.
Go figure right.
But I had an awesome time chatting with the skateboarding bartender.
Also hearing stories from the other ladies next to me who skate as well.
Maybe I'll run a skatepark when i'm 40. that would make me happy.
Till then I have some shenanigans to count down to.

The Favre Curse for EA
I used to work at a big UK company that did DVD repurposing and packaging. Well nothing can be more worse than having throw out a couple million sleeves, slipcases, or DVD's because they have the wrong image or logo. Which I imagine is the situation that EA is dealing with right now. There has to be an economic shortfall for having to reprint all these items and have them shipped. Companies are supposed to have these contigency plans in place more specifically in cases were a product is defective or possibly causing harm or injury to the end user. Whenever something like this happens DVD companies usually treat 5-10 different box covers when they are getting close to their street. Which I'm pretty sure you probably know already from some leaks. It's going to be an interesting couple days between now and the launch. Here's a few questions I have that I'm interested to see how they play out.
1. So will EA release two different Brett Favre Covers (Packers and New Team)?
2. Have they created Art work for Brett in other team colors already?
3. How much money could this end up costing EA?
4. Will Aaron Rogers get hurt in week 1 and the Packers be screwed?
5. Does this mean the curse of Brett Favre is stronger than the Madden Curse.?
6. Will Wal-Mart reshoot their commercial or just touch it up by swapping out images.
