Howdy there wranglers.

Probably just hungry and lack of sleep.
Got some bummer news today that might have me awol from the open.
Not sure exactly, but one of those things that's been in the back of my head for a little bit.
It's been very nice to meet all the new faces i have recently.
Random convos, adventures, and shenanigans.
Any of that is better than the stress.
But I need not be yapping and yammering...

Meik! Presents: Eat Play Drink
Yesterday I think I only slept for an hour or 2.

Well after all those shenanigans I got up and worked.
Later I would ended up in the city.
I wanted to be in the night prior for a couple parties and galleries.
But I was backlogged by some work for Mexican Soccer.
So after some UEFA action on Friday I jumped on a 126 NJ Transit.
Before that I ran and took this photo on a court
You see I was chugging some coffee and the court had a garage can
So I took care of that and snapped some hoops and cracks and buses

Took the quick ride in to the city and the journey headed south.
The first stop had to be brooklyn industires.
You see I had to leave my bag in car since there were thing I couldn't lose. Mainly checking and banking stuff.
I realized I had stuff 2 cameras, an ipod and a blackberry and more.
So I grabbed a messenger bag that would seem empty the whole night.
Tis was an evening the usual spots...
Cheesteaks at Wogie's bevy at Max Fish and a Night cap or 3 at B-Side.
I have this thing now for photos of locks and door handles.

I had 2 normal drinks and then ask Andrew for "Something FAAAABULOUS!"
He accepted the challenge and created a magical beverage.
It can be be described as what it must be like to make out with the Cast of Designing Women and Trail Mix
I love when promotion items outlive failed TV Shows...
Got back to Jersey and the mesh reflects the light back.
Night ended, went home, made pasta, slept and now watching UTD.

Dealer's Choice: No Bumper

This is the lovely Sara.

I walk in to B-Side yesterday and saw my tag team cheesesteak eating partner in a sling.
My first response was, "I didn't do this, I swear".
You see Sara and I have a funny story from a while back where our fidgeting elbows were misguided during a joke.
Let's just there was a pop I thought we were going to the hospital.
But everything worked out that day.
I think I ended up bringing Sara flowers the next time I saw her.
Note to men and women if you almost accidently break your friends nose by sliding off your chair you should get them flowers.
And if you like cheesteaks then that's just a double bonus.
So back to yesterday I was worried what it could be.
As Sara recounted it was quite painful but somethat just happens.
I expalined to her how I almost did the same thing a couple days prior.
Except my wound would have been self inflicted as I tried to Incredible Hulk or Hulk Hogan my way out of a tiny shirt.
The problem was the stitching on the shoulder blades.
Which made my should almost pop.
Be safe out their kids.
While we had some time I shot photos of Sara outside.
With my camera and hers. While I was shooting with I accidently I had my thumb on hers.
So Sara is now the proud owner of 27 photos of my plaid shirt.

Hello and good day.
Well last night was a funny and crazy adventure.
It started off slow running late at work and getting home.
Finally at some point adventures began from the villages and ended in Les.
I met some amazing folks, we had our fortune red by Elizbetha.
She's the female version of the Zoltan Fortune teller machine.
Got a ride from a lovely jewelry/clothing designer and friends.
Had to treat for some 4am breakfast because it was hunger time.
There were ball pits splashed into and slides that were slid.
There was a belgian girl who I thought was russian and kept pulling away Michel when we were chatting at Epstein's about fashion, adventures, trouble and galivanting...
Oh those darn airports and various shenanigans.
I left a wounded soldier when Dave was telling me some amazing Zoo York stories from back in in the day.
Luckily I was beaten up for leaving Michel in audio pergatory about St. Tropez or Ibiza or whatever the girl we didn't know was talking about.
Side not I tried to the Spike Lee Brooklyn Absolut. Not bad. Pretty good.
It was a funny twist as I was supposed to go to an L Magazine Absolut event but i was running an hour late.
On the L train I then realized it was in Gowanus I think.
And I'd probably arrive when it was over.
So the adventure went from to B-Side then Fish then Epstein's.
I pretty sure I'm on ly suming up parts of the adventure but it was good.
As usual I might some really nice folks, had some great conversations...And hello might now have some friends in the neighborhood.
I have to now go mow the lawn so I'll spell check this later.

Slightly Gross...Garbage Gutter
So friday I was on a slight walking adventure before the Yankee game.
Pre and Post Druids.
I've been messing around with my point and shoot Nikon a lot more.
And it appears to be actually working now.
I'll probably look to get a G11 or G10 by canon soon but till then it's here.

Don't worry it popped back in and the bevy helped.

I some times need to take random breaks.
For no reason at all.
In fact part of me believes I'm lying right now anyways.
But when I see I chair I go, ummmm hey anyone sitting there.
And like with life you need to be a go getter.
I actually had to sprint in a 100m dash against a brazilian supermodel just to grab this spot for this photo.
Fine don't believe me, but how do you think I got Yara's digits?
Think about that when you're walking and standing.

Meik! Day

The 1st Annual If You Find Us We Will Have Fun Meik! Extravaganza Roaming Festival Day.
I think that sums it up pretty well.
Awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay we go!
Meik! and his pork Tacos
I have an addiction to pork tacos.
Especially the ones from Endless Summer.
But I don't live in Brooklyn and sometimes need a fix at home.
These are not the same but they get the job done
Slow cook some pork (shoulder) for about 8 hours, low & slow.
Throw in some vinegar and salt and pepper. (No spinderella)
Once you are done you can shred and tear apart the meat.
Steam up some nice green spinach.
Slice Cherry tomatoes in half and quarter some limes.
Heat up some soft tortillas.
Combine ingredients and add some blue cheese on top...
