There's days we try and others we fail.
The night is long and bested with ale
Winter has been with us too long already
I'm not too sure if I know a girl named Bettie.
The past is going to be what is was.
The present's fabric is future fuzz.
Walking may take more energy is this snow
Up up and away, unaware the next adventure may go....

Might as well shoot some film tonight.
Working on some adventures, probably LES-terly.
Maybe even a quick stop by ACE or Standard.
Who really even knows?
But the fish and eps will probably be involved some how.
Away we go later on....

This was my favorite photo from the event last week at Milk.
Simple but awesome!
I need to look her up in the book.
My quick reference to snowboarders names is slower than that of skateboarders.
If she has any online video parts I'll post one too.
Anyways, carry on!

this is funny to me.
mainly because i'm parked under the billboard near the Lincoln Tunnel.
Apparently they had customer parking at Prager in Nawlins...
This weather sucks...I want some warmer air or atleast dry ground.

Another batch of late night randoms.
Back from the Milk Gallery adventure.
Killing time beforehand I shot some photos of the the new rink outside The Standard Hotel.
Remeber you skateguards in the taxi...

Saturday night at Milk Gallery Burton Presented Winter's Children.
Work by Jim Mangan of simplicity and fun in Snowboarding.
Minus the neon, the sponsors and for some photos the clothes.
It's some fun and amazing images of returning to nature.
The air over the fire and the girl with short hair in the blanket were my two favorites.
I got the book which is a must have so I'll proper update those names later
As with any Vice Event there was bevy, dancing, music & shenanigans
R.I.F. (in case you forgot the reading is fun campaign)
In the middle
Just a peak
Lots of Bevy
The night is young
lines and photos
Listen to your DJ's
Just saw his skate part recently, pretty sick
Taji & his lady I do believe...
Smiles and sweaters
Sweaters and flannel
Oh and there was a video too...I'll search for it if Vice Posted it
Some outtakes to come later that have funny short stories...
Like whoah! Now seriously is this just a junker or an art install.
I found this near the highline on my way to Milk Gallery.
A little confusing and kinda catches you off guard.
It's hoarders meets intervention meets exit through the gift shop.
Anyways I snapped some photos of this parking chaos.
And did not notice any tickets or boots. Debate away.
Also how was this car not towed...
The world acts in some crazy ways.
I hope nobody is inside.

During my walkings last night I spotted this piece above.
Now is this anti-banksy.
I forget all the pro and anti people.
We have a british type guy in a suit and bolwer deitinating
And the rat aboce is exploding in various colors.
It was also quite cold on the streets
somewhere near hogs & heffers
Streetlights and nights
oh this snow just needs to go
there's a car that caught my eye...I'll show you later
The photos on exhibit last night were really amazing.
All shot on 35mm film I believe.
Some with elaborate details others win people appearing tiny on a giant snowy landscape...
And possibly in the buff...
Pick up the book if you can, it's only $30.
Vice or Milk probably have it available online.
More stuff later
Last night I tried out my new Nikon Nikkor Zoom 28-105 lens.
I've really wanted it for a while but it was always expensive new.
So I found a good deal on ebay and bid for it with 30 seconds left.
A risky move but I though if I get it great, if not no worries.
It has both normal and macro modes.
Which I almost broke it not realizing the it won't switch to Macro unless it's zoomed to atleast 50mm.
Luckily I figured that out before anything snapped.
I used it a bunch last night at the Winter's Children show at Milk Gallery.
It worked really good, so I'll be using this lens a bunch more.
Oh and the Brooklyn Lager was frosty and delicious.
