4 Kinds of tomatoes
Eggplant
2 Types of Peppers
Strawberries
Rosemary
Basil
And maybe something else...

I need to go back an get more topsoil.
2 of the buckets are a little low.
Maybe grab some more herbs.
Possibly get some cucumbers too.
So we shall see how this turns out.

Last thursday...I think it was thursday.
We headed to Mallick Williams Gallery.
Kiji McCafferty and friends were showing off some amazing work.
I snapped some photos, chatted a little, sipped on some tasty bevy and grabbed a cookie.
I learned from Kiji about the application of orange to his pieces that would cause stress based on timing, drying and cohesion..
Oh by the way don't slip or screw up.
Really nice work you should keep you eyes on.
If you got some time stop by the gallery or buy a piece...You know you wanna.

A Chromatic Exhibition featuring works by Kiji McCafferty, Chor Boogie, Erik Otto, Kate Pane, Word To Mother and Lu Gold

I will be exhibiting several new paintings in a group show tomorrow (thursday the 21st) at Mallick Williams Gallery.
located on 150 11th Avenue (btwn 21st and 22nd st.) New York, New York 10011

The paintings are part of an ongoing series titled "My Drifting Life in a Floating World" which documents current and past events both public and personal in the context of traditional Ukioy-e woodblock based style also commonly known as "Floating World" prints.

The initial reference for these works are from a woodblock print by Utagawa Kuniyoshi, titled "Events in the Ansei Period" (1859). In which the artists depicts the 1855 Ansei Edo Earthquake as seen from within Yoshiwara. At the time the earthquake was blamed on a legendary giant catfish (Namazu) who's thrashing caused the quakes. In the years following the earthquake the Namazu were depicted both positively and negatively as a force of destruction and rebirth.

I have four paintings on display twof 60" by 60" panels titled "Flotsam" & "Jetsam" and two 40" by 30" panels titled "Conspicuous Gyre West" and Conspicuous Gyre East (with eye)". Painted in acrylic, latex and enamel on wood panel.

Well well well....
I should be sleeping and I will be soon.
I had a great time at KCDC on Saturday.
Some might say a little too good time.
Which is why misnavigated the L train.
Fast forward to renting a room at 980 Wyckoff.
Mainly because I lost my blacberry.
But luckily I had my ipod touch.
Fast forward to getting home today, feeling crappy and switching to iphone.
I blame the blackberry brandy on my lack of a Blackberry going forward.

So I was trying out some new gear last night. And of course some settings were off. So I took a moment to tool around a little. I included this gallery photo and some more in the slide show below. This was random over exposed photo from last night... Now Cropped and adjust looks fun... Outfit and walls contrast well The one of Wyatt in front of the door looking away is probably my favorite.
